Oshkosh Travel Planner

Stay LocalWe have put together this Oshkosh Travel planner and itinerary to help our guests and other visitors to the Oshkosh area plan their trip.

This example is for a 3-night stay but we would be happy to help tailor your trip to your choosing.

Arrive, check-in and get acquainted with the inn and your room/suite. Nicole and Scott (owners), will be happy to answer any questions you have regarding the inn and Oshkosh.

5:30 dinner- Enjoy dinner at one of our many downtown casual restaurants Let Scott or Nicole know what you may be looking for in terms of a dining experience. They will be happy to make any suggestions. .

7:00 -Most Thursday nights June-August, enjoy Waterfest on the Fox River. You just may see one of your favorite blasts from the past bands. Another great option is the Escape Room. You will have 60 minutes to solves puzzles, find clues, and escape the room before your time is up.

9:00 – Come back to the inn after your night out to enjoy homemade desserts. The selection changes daily. Enjoy under the pergola in the summer or inside on one of the porches during the cooler evenings.

8:30-10:00 – Enjoy a fabulous sweet or savory breakfast which is served from 8:30-10:00.

10:30-3:00– Stay in town to visit one or all of our incredible museums. If taking a scenic drive on the bikes or in the car sounds appealing to you, we recommend visiting the lighthouses around Lake Winnebago.

4:00 – Come back to the inn to relax, take a nap or enjoy a relaxing soak in your room in the two-person soaker tub.

6:00 Dinner– May we recommend a romantic dinner at Beckets on the Fox River. Many weekends they offer free live entertainment.  Our personal favorite when visiting Beckets is the Welton Becket Martini before dinner. If you still have room after dinner, the grasshopper is a must, which is hand muddled for the perfect thickness. We would be happy to make a reservation for you if you wish.

8:00 – Enjoy a sunset cruise aboard the On The Loos Cruise down the Fox River, just steps away from Beckets.

9:45 – Come back to the inn to enjoy more homemade desserts and a great night’s rest.

8:30-10:00 – Enjoy another scrumptious sweet or savory homemade breakfast.

1030 -12:30 – Walk down to the farmer’s market, just outside our door in the summer or the indoor market after October. You will find goodies from local farms/farmers as well as crafts and live entertainment. Afterward, browse the downtown shops for some unique gifts or souvenirs to take home.

12:30-3:30 – Enjoy lunch downtown at one of our many amazing restaurants. We also recommend grabbing a nice bottle of wine, craft brew or a nice bottle of bourbon at Gardinas or Wagner Market for later or to take home.

If you are feeling casual, check out one or all of our amazing breweries.

If you are feeling like a bit more exercise then take walk or bike ride on one of several of Oshkosh’s trails.
