TEDx Oshkosh 2018 – Ideas Worth Spreading

TEDx Oshkosh 2018 You won’t want to miss a minute of the 2018 TEDx Oshkosh conference, scheduled for November 10th, 2018 at The Grand Oshkosh.

TEDx Oshkosh is back with a 3rd year of ideas worth spreading. The first two years of TEDx Oshkosh were so popular that the audience tripled in size. If you enjoy being intrigued, inspired, and enlightened, you’ll want to join in, too.

TEDx Oshkosh includes both TEDTalks videos and live speakers to spark deep thoughts, deep discussions, and foster community in a small group. The 9 hour program, includes a catered lunch and light snacks and beverages during breaks – all included in the ticket price!

This year’s event includes 15 thought-provoking speakers. Subjects range from urban farming and school math to #MeToo and navigating a post-truth world. Take a look!

What is TED and TEDx?

TED is a nonprofit organization devoted to spreading innovative and challenging ideas. The initials stand for “Technology, Entertainment, Design” but the conferences focus on many scientific, cultural, and academic topics. TED Talks are usually short, powerful, and creatively presented stories designed to instill excitement and inspiration.

A TEDx conference, like a regular TED event, includes live speakers and recorded TED Talks. The difference is that TEDx conferences are independently organized, with the blessing – and licensing – of TED.
